Description
A distinctive-looking species mostly on the ground, migratory and passing here between the Northern breeding grounds and the Southern overwinter areas. This species nests on the ground.
How to Identify
The black-yellow face pattern and the black band over the breast below the neck are distinctive characteristics.
Where When to Spot
Only observed during migration along the North shore near Tadoussac.
