Park Pointe aux Prairies
What I call Park Pointe aux Prairies consists of three sections. There is the largest area, the middle section with ponds and forests and the Chalet de l’Heritage. Then the eastern section connecting the middle area with the river on the east. Finally the western part on the other side of the highway, connecting to the river on the west.
How to Get Here
To visit middle and east section, I take metro line green up to the end station Honore-Beaugrand and then bus line 186, a trip of about an hour. In summer, the western part is not accessible from the other sections and no public transport available. I take the bike and drive along the river on the left. In winter, all three sections are connected. It takes a long walk, though.
