Lesser Periwinkle Vinca minor

Lesser Periwinkle isn't native to Europe and has been introduced to the Montreal area. It's a low growing, evergreen plant forming a large colony with many flowers, blooming from spring to mid-summer.

How to Identify

Lesser Periwinkle is a low growing evergreen plant forming a large colony with many flowers. A flower has 5 light violet petals.

Where and When to Spot

The only place so far where I saw this species is Parc de la Visitation, in the forest just right of the entrance.
